Marketing Tips for October

October is the official kick off to holiday shopping (we know, it seems early but it’s true)! Here are a few tips for you to know:

CUSTOMERS EXPECT A CHAT FEATURE ON YOUR WEBSITE

Your consumers live in the world of immediate gratification. Help them out by installing a chat feature on your website. Even better, install a chat bot. It is convenient, user-friendly, and cost-effective. A chat feature will improve your support experience for your customers, helps with customer acquisition and onboarding, and is a great lead generator. Additionally, it will allow you to identify frequently asked questions to develop a FAQ page on your website.

CONSUMERS ARE TRANSITIONING TO A HOLIDAY-BUYING MINDSET

The kick-off to the holiday shopping season seems to be getting earlier and earlier every year as businesses position themselves first in the race. If you don’t have your marketing plan locked and loaded and ready to run, you’re behind. Do a quick search of your competitors to see what they’re doing. Are they offering something you’re not? Think about how you can stand out from them either through the positioning of your business, ramping up and diversifying your marketing tactics, and/or changing your product offerings.

PRO-TIP: Do you want to be seen by your consumers as a community supporter? Find a local trunk-or-treat your business can sponsor or take part in.
